To our friends, clients, families, and everyone in the legal and mental health communities:
All of us at Greenspun Shapiro want to THANK YOU for your generous and very meaningful contributions to our GSPC Fundraiser and challenge benefiting NAMI Northern Virginia. It has been a resounding success! You all have contributed an impressive $10,160 and we are hopeful there are still some checks in the mail.
As promised, Greenspun Shapiro is matching your contributions and is sending NAMI NoVA our check in the amount of $12,500. This means that NAMI NoVA will be receiving $22,660 to further its mandate to support, educate, and advocate for those living with mental health conditions and their families. It is thanks to each of YOU that we are able to send this check!
Of course—and you knew this was coming—NAMI NoVA’s needs for support do not end with your tax-deductible donation this year. Please think of this important organization and the community it helps throughout 2021. Given the state of the world, NAMI NoVA’s work will certainly be needed even more going forward.
What: GSPC is proud to host a holiday fundraiser for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Northern Virginia. We are excited to announce that GSPC will match up to $15,000 donated to NAMI NoVa in the name of this GSPC Fundraiser!
100% of all donations will go directly to NAMI NoVa!
When: Now through Wednesday, December 23, 2020
How to Donate
Please note: For your donation to be matched, you must write “GSPC Fundraiser” in the “I want my donation to be dedicated” field on the donation form:
Why NAMI NoVA
NAMI NoVa’s mission is to serve those affected by mental health conditions through education, support, and advocacy. Tragically, there is a great overlap between mental health needs and the criminal justice system. We have found that many of our clients can, and do, benefit from NAMI NoVa’s important services. NAMI NoVa has numerous programs for those living with mental health conditions, as well as their loved ones.
GSPC has been a proud supporter of NAMI NoVa for many years, and we are excited to continue to support them now, with your help, when the need for mental health services is greater than ever.
