Born and raised in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, Anastasia Kranias graduated from the University of Maryland in College Park with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice & Criminology and Communication. Anastasia later graduated from Regent University School of Law, where she was a member of and competition coordinator for her school’s Moot Court Board. While in law school, Anastasia studied International Human Rights at the University of Strasbourg in France, under the direction of former US Attorney General John Ashcroft.
Since graduating from law school, Anastasia has gained experience in a variety of areas of law, ranging from real estate transactions and traffic law to criminal and domestic law in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Practicing with Greenspun Shapiro Ginsberg & Yang PC for over 10 years, she has handled everything from minor traffic violations to murder, as well as complex civil matters.
Her passion for helping others extends beyond the courtroom as she has spent thousands of hours outside of the law firm coaching CrossFit athletes to better their health and fitness. When she is not practicing law or coaching, she can be found spending time with her husband and young daughter!

PERSONAL STATEMENT

“Through my personal experience in court, as well as through observation of some of the best attorneys in Northern Virginia, I have learned two keys to success: uncompromised preparation and compassion. These qualities enable me to fight vigorously for those who feel defenseless, while providing a voice of comfort and reason to those who feel threatened by the judicial system. It is my personal goal to leave every client in a better place than where I found them.”
